Exhibition at Larry Spring Museum
MendoLatino had their first museum exhibition in the summer of 2025 at the Larry Spring Museum in Fort Bragg, CA. The exhibit included archival family photos and treasured memorabilia related to our project Making History/Haciendo Historia: Latinos in Mendocino.
This exhibit was the first exhibit in the region that centered Latinx experiences. The exhibition ran for four months, during which time we had several open houses, private receptions for family members and public events, such as a collective creation of a timeline, and a participatory photo sharing activity.

We also were featured in the Mendocino Coast REM magazine where we told the story of the project and its impact in the community. Read the article about the Nuestro Norte project here.
In February 2025 we presented our audio stories to a group of 80 community residents as part of Mendocino Art Center’s exhibition called “How we shape each other”.

EXPOSICIÓN EN EL MUSEO LARRY SPRING
MendoLatino celebró su primera exposición en un museo en el verano de 2025 en el Museo Larry Spring de Fort Bragg, California. La muestra incluía fotografías familiares de archivo y recuerdos muy preciados relacionados con nuestro proyecto «Making History/Haciendo Historia: Latinos en Mendocino».
Esta fue la primera exposición de la región centrada en las experiencias de la comunidad latina. La muestra estuvo abierta al público durante cuatro meses, tiempo en el que organizamos varias jornadas de puertas abiertas, recepciones privadas para familiares y eventos públicos, como la creación colectiva de una línea de tiempo y una actividad participativa de intercambio de fotografías.

MendoLatino was selected as one of the three Spring 2024 100 Women Strong Mendocino Coast event nominees. This was a huge honor. The event was held on Thursday, April 18th, 2024.

MendoLatino fue seleccionado como una de las tres organizaciones nominadas para el evento de la primavera: “Spring 2024 100 Women Strong Mendocino Coast”.
